Siddha Yoga or Siddha Yogi |
Attainment of the God is about conscious efforts to attain selfless karma without
attachment - Bhagavad Gita.
|
|
It is easy to read, but in reality, Karma Yoga given by Lord Sri Krishna to Arjuna is a process
of several lives - It is the Conscious efforts with help of Gyan yoga, Bhakti yoga, Raja yoga and all other yogas that ultimately lead to self-realization
after several lives. |
Lord Sri Krishna -
Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 19
The highest ideal for every Sadhak is `Siddha-Avasthaa' i.e. state of perfection or `Moksha' i.e. release from the cycle of multiple births and deaths. As a result of the knowledge of the Self, a Yogi has nothing left in balance, which is yet to be acquired for anyone including himself. It is all the same to him whether he performs an action or does not perform it. If such a Yogi has nothing to do gain or lose from others then as per the modern principle of `the path of the least action', his logical choice must be inaction and not action; as he has nothing to achieve for himself as well as for others.....In the rhythm of incessantly beating of heart, a Sadhak carries out various mundane worldly activities without even noticing every single beat of his heart. Absence of attachment leads to pacification of mind; thus work and rest go on as if reflex actions. Mind made calm in this way becomes capable of grasping the Self. Calmness of mind is the essential pre-requisite for the knowledge of the Self.

The infinite energy force that keeps the whole Universe in order is the Cosmic energy
and the reflection of this Cosmic energy within each individual is called the Kundalini.
Kundalini lies dormant at the base of the spine and can be awakened. Once awakened
the Kundalini unleashes unlimited creative potential that exists within every human
being.
Kundalini Yoga is a system of meditative techniques within the ancient Indian yogic
tradition that focuses on awakening of the Kundalini leading to psycho-spiritual
growth and the body's potential for maturation.
Kundalini yoga is considered as the King of all the Yogas because it is the most
powerful and the most simple yoga known to the human being.
Kundalini yoga is also called as the yoga of awareness because it directly affects
ones consciousness, develops intuition and increases self knowledge. Practitioners
of Kundalini yoga benefit greatly from an elevation in consciousness, promotion
of physical well-being and an expansion of awareness. Life is transformed into one
which is happy, healthy & harmonious.

Once Kundalini is initiated:
1) Sadhak can start experiencing the "kriyas" (pranik movements or divine experiences)
from day one.
2) It needs years of consistent practice to start receiving the benefits mentioned here (on the left).
3) Siddha yoga is for those who carry ability to do efforts in the long term. It
takes Consistent, Conscious and Sincere efforts of few lives
before one attains The Salvation (or The God, The Divine or The Chaitanya)
It takes efforts of 20 years before an individual attains a university degree or
a "piece of paper". (Even after 20 years of efforts
most of the people do not attain basic common sense to sustain a happy, peaceful
and successful life.)
God is Omnipotent and Omnipresent encompassing the entire Universe. Those who realize
the God attain the Divine knowledge and wisdom with the ability of creation (Chaitanya
or Siddhis or Miracles). One should not expect the realization of Self (the Divine
or the Chaitanya) by efforts of few years or decades.
Do not follow path of Siddha yoga
(or kundalini yoga or Raja yoga or ANY yoga for that matter) if your timeline is of few weeks, months or years.
The Siddha Gurus (those who have attained the self-realization) have gone through
these
4 stages with consistent efforts (unimaginable for any ordinary human
being) over several lives. |
GOD is a state of Eternal Bliss – Chaitanya or The Supreme Consciousness
God is a formless, quality-less (Nirakar, Nirgun) “State of Being” – “A Blissful Being that is Eternal as well as Intelligent”. The state being an “Intelligent”
one, it can also take a form with qualities (Avatars).
Therefore, the God can be with a form and qualities (Sagun and Sakar) at the same
time God is Nirgun and Nirakar. This is the reason why some people recognize “Self”
(Nirgun, Nirakar) as God while others get the “Darshan” of the God that is Sagun
and Sakar.
Thus the God is Sagun/Sakar and Nirgun/Nirakar at the same time. This is the
reason why God is considered Omnipotent and Omnipresent.
It is a bliss or ceaseless joy NOT connected with body or mind – Which you do not want to go away from. This is the point at which the Yogi has fully realized that
the life that we ("We" - the average human beings) live day to day is nothing more
than sufferings and therefore, he chooses to stay in the abode of the Blissville
for ever, never to come back.
This is The God the yogis want to attain.
