Happiness is our nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside - Ramana Maharshi
e-Yoga Newsletters: Yoga, God, Karma, Vedanta, Religion - Page # 2

All those whom you call yours (Husband, Wife, Father, Mother, Son, Daughter, Family and Friends) were NOT yours in the past birth and will NOT be yours in the next birth. You will not even recognize them if they come before you in the next birth. It’s your "Maya" that binds you to them and keeps you away from the Truth in the miserable travel of Jiva (individual body with soul). Finding of this Self-Illuminating Truth by Jiva is called the Self-Realization or Atma-Sakshatkar! One who finds it is called Jivanmukta! ONLY a Jivanmukta can be Guru! Everyone else is a Traveler!

Read following link to understand meaning of several words that I commonly use in e-Yoga letters. You, Me, God, Guru, Swami and a Common man...It is written to remove some doubts, misconceptions and strengthen your faith in the existence of the Divine.

I have moved the eYoga letter to GoogleGroup. Read these eYoga letters, try to follow daily quotes and you will reach your destination. Subscribe here if you wish to receive eYoga letters in email and facebook.

I have mentioned many times in the emails and on the website – “God and Guru Do Not Do Anything, Nor Do they Give anything to Anyone”. You know why? Answer to this question possibly explains what God and Guru .....

On 911 remember Swami Vivekananda     - Date: September 11, 2013

Why? Because 1) 911 = Religious Intolerance = Hate 2) Vivekananda = God without Religion = Divine Love The role of religion is extremely limited in human quest for the Divine (the origin). Ladder of religion has only 10 rungs (Steps) while one has to go up Trillions of steps if one has to attain the Divinity (absolute purity). Religion is u.....

Hopper, Prisoner and Pet: God and Realization     - Date: September 01, 2013

This is more about the people (believers, non-believers and dis-believers) than the God himself ('him' is just for the sake of convenience). Yoga is an exact science. It aims at the harmonious development of body, mind and soul. Everyone should follow one Yoga as their primary Yoga (based on their character). Then we must combine Karma Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Gyan Yoga. This “Yoga Synthesis” will lead one to the God.
