Happiness is our nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside - Ramana Maharshi

Restarting eYoga emails after long gap

Date Sent: October 15, 2014

Dear all,

After I stopped sending emails few months back (email below) I am thinking of restarting it. This is first effort after longtime. I am testing this email through my site (not Gmail). I may also go for a Facebook option or may be both. I just don't know.

As always, I encourage people to unsubscribe rather than join this list. Why?

Because I want to serve only those that are serious about spirituality, to stay on the list.

The fact is - There is only one in thousands who is seeking answers, everyone else is just trying to find some justification in what they believe in. The one who is searching for answer will always be guided by the divine and he doesn't need guidance from mortal people.

Someone asked Buddha - "There is God, right?" Buddha said "Yes, there is God"

Another person asked - "There is no God, right?" Buddha said "That is correct, there is no God"

Buddha's disciple asked him why two different answers? "My spiritual son," said Buddha, "they were not ready for my answers. They were not even looking for an answer. They were merely looking for a confirmation to what they thought they already knew."

What answers I am talking about?

Read my reply to one of the questions I received recently: My heart is searching something. I do not know what I am searching for and what I really need. I am living fully a satisfied life. But search is inside - My heart is searching something.

Everyone is searching but they don't even know what they are searching for...and so they continue to run with the bunch of other lost people - The Lost World.

The fact is - Even if God comes before us, 99% of us will reject it as imagination of their mind. 1% will be confused. Rest of them (0%) will ''realize'' him. The only way to experience the God is to destroy the mind and desires - 100%. There is no way one can experience the Divine with the ''agitated'' mind that we carry today. (''Agitation'' that is created by millions of distractions around us). God or Guru cannot provide the experience of that Bliss. One who has experienced cannot even describe it because there is nothing similar that we have experienced in our worldly life....absolutely nothing. So the enlightened ones simple go speechless (Shri Ramana Maharshi) or will says ''yes'' to everything you ask (Buddha). My Guru always did it to me when I was in my 20s..he said 'yes' to everything. Now I know why. Because I was young and stupid. Now I am old and even more stupid :)

Here is my blunt request:

ONLY THOSE THAT ARE serious about searching the answers need to stay on my list. EVERYONE ELSE PLEASE Unsubscribe (reply with subject unsubscribe) and I will be happy to.

Please note, if you are a Facebook power user (posting family pics and commenting on others), don't even stay on this list. Your attention span is only 140 characters. Spirituality starts at 14,000 characters.

Sorry for my bluntness.

By the way, I recently added another page to the site - What is Supreme Consciousness?

Thanks.

Subject - Important: Stopping all emails from today

Today, I received a reply from someone to "remove" who was never in my mailing list ever. That tells me Gmail is messing up with the ids in the mailing list.
I am stopping all my emails from Gmail until I build the new email group...Dont know which one.

It''s pretty sure there are many on my personal contact list and those who ever contacted me are getting my Yoga emails who should never have received any in the first place. My apologies to anyone who did not register and still received my emails. My thoughts are ONLY for those who seek them.

Hope to fix the problem as I move valid list to Google Groups (or some other). Those who I know are on the list will start receiving emails after I move them to group.

If it is not a clean transfer to the new group. (because sometimes these providers need opt-in confirmation) I may even delete entire list and start from 0 members.
Sorry for inconvenience. I am a small man without a corporate budget to manage all these things :)

Thanks
Mahendra Joshi

Restarting eYoga emails after long gap Topics: God

Yoga is an exact science. It aims at the harmonious development of body, mind and soul. Everyone should follow one Yoga as their primary Yoga (based on their character). Then we must combine Karma Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Gyan Yoga. This “Yoga Synthesis” will lead one to the God.
