Ask Questions: God, Kundalini/Siddha Yoga, Kriya, Meditation, Chakra, Hinduism

This section is created for visitors to ask questions on various topics ranging from Kundalini yoga, Siddha yoga, Kriyas, Meditation, Chakras and Nadis, various paths to the God, and many more on the spirituality in general.

I will Answer ONLY the questions that have not been already answered Here and Here.  (90% of common questions have already been answered several times in the past)

You will receive an email if and when the question is answered. My efforts are to share a very detailed and intricate knowledge about the Siddha yoga (also called Kundalini yoga) that is one of the oldest, most powerful and the simplest of the Yogas. I myself have benefited from this path (because of the grace of my Sadguru) and hence the efforts to spread the knowledge of Siddha yoga (kundalini yoga) to those interested.

Please note some important points:
  • Most of the questions are very common, like 'How to find a Guru?', 'Do you give Deeksha?', 'Am I progressing in spiritual path?', 'How do I know which is a fake Guru?' etc. All common questions are already answers by me several times, so please: before sending your question - DO READ:  Common questions about God, Yoga, Divinity, Kundalini & Material World

  • Also, I send weekly eYoga emails. Topics I discuss in eYoga letters automaticlaly answer questions of many seekers. If you are serious about your question and divnity in general please Subscribe Here

  • You should ask only serious and genuinely spiritual questions. One day I received a question "please tell me about bhakti yoga". If someone does not have time to detail a question, I do not have time to write a detailed answer. For general questions you have Google to help. This section is only for detailed questions which are very specific to an individual and their progress on the path to the God.

  • Please visit this link before you send your question - Types of questions you should NOT ask and I CANNOT answer

  • While asking questions please also provide little information about your "material" status and your view towards the "material life" (your view towards material and spiritual life will help me write appropriate answer that will be more applicable to your specific situation than all the people in general.)

  • Please let me know if you have been graced by a Guru. Answer to every question very much differs based on if an individual has a Guru or not.

  • The "Edited" part of the communication I have with people (which can be helpful to others) is listed on my site. You name will not be displayed on the site. (I will change the name before listing the Q and A on site.) I will also remove sensitive or personal details while publishing the content. So even if you have sensitive personal questions/answers/details those will be removed and your name/details will be changed to protect your identity. As explained about, it is all about sharing the intricate knowledge about the path towards the God (which in reality is very simple...but we make it very difficult with the thickness of our Samskaras - "Past impressions", that act like a wall separating us from the God.)
Thank you,
Mahendra Joshi

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 19

The highest ideal for every Sadhak is `Siddha-Avasthaa' i.e. state of perfection or `Moksha' i.e. release from the cycle of multiple births and deaths. As a result of the knowledge of the Self, a Yogi has nothing left in balance, which is yet to be acquired for anyone including himself. It is all the same to him whether he performs an action or does not perform it. If such a Yogi has nothing to do gain or lose from others then as per the modern principle of `the path of the least action', his logical choice must be inaction and not action; as he has nothing to achieve for himself as well as for others.....In the rhythm of incessantly beating of heart, a Sadhak carries out various mundane worldly activities without even noticing every single beat of his heart. Absence of attachment leads to pacification of mind; thus work and rest go on as if reflex actions. Mind made calm in this way becomes capable of grasping the Self. Calmness of mind is the essential pre-requisite for the knowledge of the Self.

79Aug-06-2012I hope you are well. I am writing to you to pass on some information about a spiritual teacher in the United States that everyone should stay away from. Do you remember I told you I had had a bad experience with a Guru? Well this is the same person. I did not have any evidence before only my own experience and gut feeling but now some really disturbing things have emerged and I feel compelled to tell you because he is dangerous and if his name comes up you should be aware. I was a member of the their web group for a while, there are some lovely people there and the Guru comes across well on the Internet. However I attended a seminar with him in Ireland and was totally shocked. He used mind control, hypnotism techniques and the type of techniques they use in cults. He was not spiritual, but powerfully manipulative leader, there was also a strong sexual undertone. I had a lucid dream during the seminar where I was warned not to enter their "Church" under any circumstances as there were many hidden layers. I left the place straight after this. I warned others about the fake Guru. Now just yesterday two very young woman have shared very disturbing accounts. They were both in teacher-disciple relationships with him. In order to raise their Kundalini he insisted they be completely naked and prostrate themselves at his feet saying I surrender to the master Guru. To one he said that she would receive more Shakti if she had his semen in her mouth, he made the other one masturbate in front of him. There is a lot more but these are the basics. I just thought you should know as your both in the Unites States and he gives Shaktipat. He has power for sure but it is not Kundalini Shakti. Many thanks

Yoga is an exact science. It aims at the harmonious development of body, mind and soul. Everyone should follow one Yoga as their primary Yoga (based on their character). Then we must combine Karma Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Gyan Yoga. This “Yoga Synthesis” will lead one to the God.
